Dr. Erin Bibber, DMD

Dr. Erin Bibber is a board-certified pediatric dentist who joined the Smile Spot team in July 2022. A born and raised New Englander, Dr. Erin grew up in both Maine and Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of New England, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and played on the collegiate field hockey team.

Dr. Erin went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut in 2020. While there, she received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Pre-Doctoral Award and the Senior Award from the American Association of Women Dentists. Dr. Erin then pursued a Master of Science degree and Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital: a prestigious residency program with a level one trauma center. During her two years of training in Ohio, she learned extensively about all aspects of pediatric dentistry. After residency, she moved back to Connecticut to be with her husband, Dominic (who is also a dentist!)

Dr. Erin always knew that she wanted to pursue a career in pediatrics. Having grown up with a deaf parent, she is passionate about helping children shine to be their best selves and specifically sought out opportunities to work with children with special healthcare needs. While at UCONN, she completed research with the craniofacial team at Connecticut Children’s, evaluating cleft palate repairs, and volunteered for the Special Olympics of CT.

Outside the office, Dr. Erin loves traveling and exploring new places with her family, baking new recipes, reading, skiing, and running. Her goal is to help you and your child feel empowered and confident when visiting the dentist and eager to make each visit fun for your child! She strives to be a trusted source of compassion and comfort for her patients and welcomes every family with a genuine smile, a profound knowledge of dentistry, and a warm heart.
